The HKS gates are really good from what I've heard. But when my motor is on the line there will always be a Tial gate backing me up. I have never ever heard anything but good comments about their products. I'm running a Tial BOV now and LOVE IT!!!!

My friend said it seriously hurt his ears when I blew by him with his window down. I like it at fist but am thinking of getting it vented into the DP cause is too much of an attention getter.

I'd either dump it in at the very end of the dp or dump it into the mp. I've knows of dsm's gaining 20whp from moving thier dump from just past the turbo to way down the exhaust. If I dump mine in it'll prob be into the mp and also set it up so the exhaust enters in at a nice angle so it doesnt disrupt the exhaust flow

The quality of this video is absolutely horrible and the sound sucks but what you can tell is that when the wastegate opens up, people start covering their ears. I feel sorry for the guy that is on the right, right next to the wastegate. He's most likely deaf in at least one ear now.

Whenever I drive with the windows down, I try to avoid getting the wastegate to open up. I just let off the throttle a little when I start hearing it. It's just too bloody loud.

I'm not 100% sure if this is still a good link, but give it a shot. CLICK
It's a vid of my car drifting with duel TiAl 38mm's open. The sounds is deafening from teh passenger seat.

My car is the first one (being driven by Alex Pfieffer). You can hear the gates open right after the vid starts. The tone changes. If you listen you can actually here ie echoing off the track walls. The poping near the end of the run is the 8200 RPM rev limiter. Listen to some of the other cars and you'll get a feeling for how loud this is.
