engine question

When you get your motor ported does your vac at idle go down...My stock motor had 14 psi of vac and my new ported motor has 10-12 psi. I only have 1200 miles on it. Gary

If you increased port overlap (which you most likely did do) then yes it will go down some.

Yes, a streetport will lower idle vacuum. BTW, both of your numbers are very low. 14" for a stock car indicates a problem. 10"-12" either indicates a very large port or a problem.
