only question I have on evans is do you need a 0 pressure system to have it run or can you run it like normal? I live in a place that does not get cold if that matters. Thanks.

A zero pressure cap is all you need. Ie. a plate or modified (springless) rad cap.

ok, so if I've got two caps on my system. One on the rad and one on the water pump housing neck then I would need a plate for the water pump housing and a springless cap for the radiator?

Thanks.
