Electronic Boost Controller - High Boost Application

Electronic Boost Controller for controlling high boost above 40psi, what are your recommendations?

Gizzmo MS-IBC < 50psi
Turbosmart e-boost2 < 60psi
HDi Full Electronic Boost Controller TYPE - D (SE) < 50psi

Any others?

does your standalone not support boost control (other than PFC, I wouldn't trust PFC boost control for anything that high) ?

Agreed.....Eboost 2. Also they make a 120psi version now....my buddy bought one from Turbosmarteast.com. I believe they carry some of the weird crap that's not readily available.

I'm not a fame of turbosmart products, grossly overrated and overpriced (e-boost2 controller $895AUD).
The Gizzmo MS-IBC is more than half the price and a great product by all accounts
See for yourself

For $375AUD I will go that route

Get the PBC-1 boost and call it a day. I'm using it on my 42r setup.

Here's an article on it.

Here's direct info from the company.

Keep in mind that they made more horsepower on they dyno just by switching to this controller.

Take a look at the NLR AMS-1000 http://www.nlrsystems.com .
I'm getting the AMS 500. I don't think I'll need more than that for a street car.

How long have you been using the PBC-1 ?
I'm looking for a controller that would support up to 25psi. It seems, that in the past few months, there's many new one's on the market.

No matter which type of boost controller used, for the boost level you're going to be running a CO2 system would have to be added.

Huh!? Carbon dioxide?
Do you mean cooling the compressed pressure?
The engine will be using methanol, no intercooler
Just trying to figure out an effective way to cool the charged air down stream - an injector placed just after the throttle perhaps...

It's a means of pressuring the wastegate and having more consistent boost pressure. Drag racers do this and a lot of diesel truck owners.

I'm selling an E-boost2 60psi - 66mm version. I'll let it go for a good price, and will include a twin LED ring with red and green LED's. I'll also include a second solenoid.

PM if interested.
