I already have a really nice setup for just over 2K, carries the same warranties, if that is too much for you to spend you should sell your FD you can't afford to keep it.

I hear the ebay intercoolers are really nice... and beats paying out your butt for a GReddy or similar.

There is a kit made specifically for RX-7's for sale on ebay that I thought sounded interesting...I was hoping that some of the more knowledgable guys on the site can give me some pointers/opinions.

I'm including the link in my post.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

My primary concerns are:

finding a quality kit- quality parts
finding a kit that won't blow up my motor
making at least 450 wheel horsepower

Thanks
You want a full setup good for 450+ hp...

Take my T51r KAI kit... 3k and I'll deliver it personally =)

Anyone will tell you 3k for a full blown KAI kit is a damn good deal when they retail for $5500. Plus, my turbo internals and hotside wheel are brand new.

I think this saying needs to be put in bold and size 60 at the top of the forum.

Ebay is the K-mart/dollar store of the internet tuning world.. you never go there to buy anything of quality. Sure once in awhile something good slips through the doors from Japan or off a landed car.. even the odd 'brand name' part makes it through the muck and mire.

You get what you pay for, even these ' people' touting the header as being great.. they seem to think that because it's an FD header that it somehow doesn't use the same materials as all the rest of the junk made in the same factory somewhere in mainland China.. denial in a massive way.. The north american market is flooded with Chinese crap parts.. the only way to make sure you get something that will last is to get it from a Japanese company ( the shos over there have nothing but contempt for the Chinese parts so your safe in that regard ) , a reputable shop or fabricator in north america that uses properly certified materials.
