Ebay ss t04 turbo..
Seriously the turbos are great for the price. People talk a lot of **** about all that ebay stuff and not many of them have really tried it. I bought all the ebay stuff just to see what all the talk was about and to see for myself, I had no problems with any of it. The turbo was a bad (mismatched) size, but it spooled great and boosted hard for ~2k miles. The wastegate worked beautifully. HOWEVER, the spring was supposed to be an 11 psi spring, and it was really a 1 bar spring. I think theres probably something up with your wastegate spring man. Take it off and see if it is opening at the right boost pressure.
i had no chpoice in mine because i did buy it with that turbo in it already and install is part of the problem. It was done by a honda shop in wisconsin called dynotuned and it looks horrible but either way i want to either go gt35r or apexi rx6 but for now im poor

WTH are ' jumped plugs'??
is anyone else finding it hard to understand this guy ? he's either a really good ESL student or a really poor typist / speller / thinker..
Either way .. an FD and cheap *** parts from Ebay DO NOT MIX. I wn't even let that crap from SSAC /XS power into my shop, even if it's brought in by a customer.

lets not turn this into a bash ss auto / xs power parts thread.
first of all is the car tuned to handle the single turbo? if yes....
when you get on it... do you hear the wastegate open?.. it should get hella loud. if yes....
at what rpm does it open... and at what psi? maybe your wastegate is set to 6psi.
now if your car is not tuned for a single or if your on the stock ems.... dont boost it again till you get something like a pfc or standalone.... and at least a base map. period.

of proper english and correct syntax young pad one knows not.
This is definitly over your head, and it sounds like if you get your turbo boosting your going to blow your engine to hell. Is it even tuned for a single turbo?
do yourself and the fd a favor and do whatever it takes to bring it to a rotary specialist.

awww yea... we were all like hks piece of ****!! we shoulda got that masterpower bling yo!!
but seriously, like i said before...
the guy isn't very clear in explaining the problem. it can be one of a thousand things... could be a vacuum line for all we know. take it to a shop and have someone figure it out before you go and point fingers. some of us get this idea, some just wanna say ohhh piece of **** ebay turbo!!
guess what... put a $2k turbo on there and you'll more than likely have the exact same problem. have someone look at it and figure out what the exact problem is--THEN start placing blame-after the facts are in.

If the car will not even get up to 60 mph easily, I would check a few things right away...
1 - Make sure the turbo spins easy with your hand. If it won't spin, it will block the exhaust up and might make the car slow.
2 - Make sure that the throttle cable is adjusted correctly. I worked on one person's car that said he had a "bad turbo" and the car would BARELY accelerate. The only problem was that his throttle cable had a LOT of extra slack in it and the throttle wouldn't open more than about 1/3 of the way.
3 - Make sure your spark plug wires and plugs are all clean and installed and wired up correctly.
4 - Do a compression test.

Well, if you wanted to be a little crazy, you could take the MAF and TID to the turbo, rev the engine and see if the wheel spins....not really sure what that would do, but it would be fun!
Anyone who knows how to install a turbo should be able to help you. There's no realy need to get help from a "Rotary-Only" shop.
