Some friends of mine who own a shop, had a 1 gen race car build from scraps. It was a 13B Cosmo, turbo, that made 356RWHP on a FC N/A ECU. I don't know how the car ran for so long. Its best time was 11.60.

Hey 20B junkie is your friends 1st gen race car owned by A-Spec. If so thats my old car and I sold it to them a few years back with the 13BRE Cosmo motor and "Scraps" as you say. I dont know why they could never get it running right we had run a best time of 11.03@133.

Yeah A-spec. I don't know anything about your car but, I did see a maroon 1st gen that Paul said was quick, my brother was going to buy it. Maybe they used your motor?

11.03 is awesome if thats the car I'm thinking of.

Because the car was build from scratch. Started with a white 1st gen, build everything from parts that sitting around or custom made like the rollcage. Except for the rear end, and some other parts. The car was blue. its on the aspec site my brother made for them www.a-spec.ca

But if you claim it to be your car then so be it. I didn't know much about the car. I just seen some videos of it all being done, so it seems to me that it was build from parts sitting around. Never knew it used to be yours. PM if you want to talk about it. Don't want to ruin this thread.

Sorry if this is off-topic guys.

I'll be skeptical until I see it. 386psi on a 60mm compressor is more like 13 or 14psi instead of 10. If it's true, then nice work.

I have almost the same setup as rottorracing but mine is a 13BRE Cosmo motor with same turbo and HKS add. inj. controller and two 40mm KKK wastegates. The car dyno'd at 421hp at 14-15psi of boost. LOTS O FUN IN MY 1ST GEN WooooooooHooooooo

Dangerous air/fuel ratios you're running there, friend. The only time you looked like you were even marginally safe was around 6krpm to 6.2krpm or so. For that boost level, aim for 11.80:1 to 12.0:1 on pump gas.

Otherwise, I still don't buy that it's just 10psi, but nice work if it is.

what do u want to know, i put a dyno up last may and all i got was "your car will not last with the stock computer" that dyno was with stock intercooler, and i pushed 336hp and now i have the turboxs engineering intercooler 20inX11inX3in my friend made me the intake throttle body with a 2 1/2in intake hole, {will have pic} had to move the batt. in to the back to do this. i also got a mass air flow senc out of a 626 there bigger by 1/4 or so i can put pics of that too if you want to see the diff. if you have any ? just ask. i will be back on tomorrow

Are you taking into account that he states his engine is a partial bridge port? The more CFM an engine flows the lower the boost pressure for the same HP.

I'm sure many people have been sceptical about your 420hp BDC

Ya thats nice work for that much boost....My question however, will those APEXi-super light show fuel computers read that much overlap on a bridgeport motor??? I don't know anything about them ecu's...

anyone?

Ah, I didn't see the partial bridgeport part. The torque numbers start to line up better for that. But still, the horsepower is pretty high.

I bet this is another contributing factor-

QUOTE-
home made exhaust manifold

Of course, a well designed turbular turbo manifold should provide some very nice gains- especially on something like a partial bridge where the engine needs the lower exhaust manifold pressures/higher flow due to the high overlap.

Or so I imagine
