Downpipe Question
I got a Setup consisting of a Stockport Series 5 Turbo motor with a Neukin.com Divided Manifold, to a Masterpower T-70 with an .96 undivided hotside. and a 3 inch Turbo back exhaust. My question is should i Keep the downpipe 3 inches? or should i go to atleast a 3.5 inch? I heard making your downpipe bigger helps with the spool which is what i want since i could not source a divided hotiside for my turbo, and i'm on stock ports. I went to an exhaust shop the other day and told them i Wanted them to do a 3.5 inch downpipe and they were saying it's not good for the flow of the exhaust but i told them i wanted it to help spool the turbo a bit quicker. Just wanted yall's thoughts on this.
Brian, I'd say get hondahaters' exhaust manifold. I ran a 1.15 on my first 60-1 and LOVED it! I'm almost tempted too get it since my .84 divided is SUPER fast on spool (I can hardly keep it in vac unless I'm almost completely off throttle. LOL)
you think it will spool decently on a stock port motor?
