Seems you are asking the impossible.
Ken
Yes a GT3540 can push a 2900lbs car into the 10's. There should be a thread about a 1st gen doing just that. 10.2 @133...

Man, I wasn't going to chime in on this thread but after reading it I can't help myself.
Please don't get all pissed off at me, this isn't personal...just throwing some things out for you to thing about...are you sure you know what you are doing? First off, the mods you have ARE NOT going to support a single turbo. Not even if you get that big Greddy 3 Row. Second, do you have any idea how fast 10s (or even 11s) really is? If you are looking for a street car that will beat damn near anything out there, you could do it with the twins and full bolt ons. You mentioned what you are "looking for" in a turbo (streetable, 400hp, little lag, runs 10s <---why is this so important to you anyway? ), and from this I drew that you probably aren't in full understanding of what is involved with going single...if you are, then by all means go single...but I am one of those believers that you should MAX OUT the stock twins with full-bolt ons before jumping to a single. Good luck though if you are going to do it...and be careful!
