doubling up turbo gaskets ???

i had my turbo and manifold surfaces machined because they were warped
my waste gate plumbing doesn't line up exactly anymore.
i am using copper as my turbo to manifold gasket. would it hurt to use two pieces of copper to compensate for the machining?

thanks

Not ideal, but I think it will work.

can you see any specific drawbacks?
i suppose the gasket might be more prone to blowing out
i want to say they use head gasket spacers when a cyl head gets machined too thin, not exactly a double gasket but its somewhat similar

Dont know if this would help but if you are worried about it you could try this http://www.remflex.com/. These gaskets are 1/8" they squash to just under 1/8" when torqued. I have heard only good things about these gaskets.

I had the same issue, I got an extra thick gasket from A-Spec and it fixed my problem.
