Does any company make a 35R or 40R turbo kit for an FC?
I saw on A-Spec's website that they have FC kits coming soon, but when? I am looking to buy either a 35R or 40R in January for an FC. But, I can't find anyone that makes an actual kit. Any help will be appreciated.

Put bluntly, most fc owners can't afford to spend the money the new "gt__r" turbos are going for, thus no kits are being offered.
Im sure somone could make one though..

it's just more common to run a FD with a 35/40 and a FC with a to4e. Just like ecu's, alot of ppl don't want to be the first to try it. So you stick with what has the most support and has been tried and tested.

cool, thanks everyone. I will keep all this in mind when I go to purchase what I need. I am buying an FC for really cheap because it needs a motor rebuild, and I am just going to build it with a nice street port and I want one of those 2 turbos on it. My friend has an FD with a 35R on it, and I love it. So, I am going to do basically the same build on the FC motor, and put the same turbo or bigger on it. His FD makes 410rwhp at 14psi on 93 pump gas. That is awesome to me. It is a blast to drive. But, I might try to make the FC a little faster.

I'm not trying to be negative to anyone I will just simply say if I were the original poster I would first contact A-Spec and find out from them when they expect to have the kit finished, and wait it out until they release it. I have their kit for my FD and the craftsmanship is great. Aside from that the customer service and help they offer is hands down the best I've come across. Sean, Steve, and the other guys at A-Spec will treat you right and you will be nothing less than satisfied with the kits or for that matter any other parts you buy from them.
I believe they offer some type of warranty on their kits, so that's something to consider as well, but as stated before contact them... they will be able to give you all the details.

I have talked with Sean via e-mail several times, and has always been extremely helpful. These were all related to a turbo kit, eventhough I told him I wouldn't be in the market for one for another year or so. Yet he stilled responded extremely quickly and answered all my question fully and comletely. Unfortunately I can't say anything for customer service as I haven't had the chance to do business with him, but from what I've heard from people that have, it has always been of the best regard. They are doing a great job for this community.

Guys make sure when you by your turbo that you get the 35R or the 35/40R because if it does not have the R on the end it is not the same turbo you think it is. A GT40 is no where near a GT40R. And yes I am getting setup for a GT35/40R now. I am not sure of any "kits" but you can piece it together fairly easy.

The SS stuff looks nice, but I bet it's a low more than $500!
