differences in t-66 p-trim & 62-1 p trim
differences in t-66 p-trim & 62-1 p trim
can somebody help me with the differenses of these 2 turbo's??? which would produce more power?? Which would spool up faster?? which would you rather have???
I've been told many times the 62-1 is not right for 7's. 60-1 if you want 10-15 psi, T66 if you want 20-? psi. It's a question of the best tool for the job. A T66 is a waste on a car that boosts max 15-17 psi. Likewise, a 60-1 will not efficiently boost 20+ psi.

T66is not a better turbo than anything, its just better for higher horsepower applications. Every turbo has its ups and downs, the T66s downs are that it dose not spool well, but it can also make 600 HP so. At 19 PSI you are looking at around 480 hp on a street ported engine.

If I had a 3'rd gen, i'd go T66 because it can handle the power and can get the traction to boot. On my TII, at my 400+rwhp with 17x9" rims in the back the car wants to walk out on me in a straight line at 15psi full tilt high rpm's...

I was just about to post this in the fs section, but I'll start here since I saw the above comment. I actually have a new, never used TS04 Ball Bearing. I got it in a package deal and really need the money for other things right now. Email if you're interested, and what it might be worth to you, I'm somewhat negotiable. Yes, it is on thepartstrader.
