Why don't we just get a dyno sheet and settle this once and for all? I'm sure the owner would be more than happy to provide it in order to prove those amazing numbers. Is he on the forum, or can anyone contact him?

I agree. Lets see some dyno sheets. If the owner doesnt have it I wonder if Davinci does? I just want to see some facts about the kit.

The owner traded that RX7 in for a viper last winter. I'm not sure if he gets on here anymore let alone has the dyno sheet still. I know that Davinci doesn't have it. They would have no reason to have it, it's not their car.

After riding in that car, my hks t51r kai now reminds me of a tortoise with rigamortise.

I guess we'll all just have to wait until someone else buys this turbo from Davinci and then we'll see. Those numbers do seem high for a stock ported motor, but I'm sure anything is possible with the right turbo and good tuning.

Then there has to be something wrong with your car. You are no way going to convince me, that with your car, and your turbo, running low 11's that that car felt faster. Com'n repsonse of a 35R and pulls harder than a T51?? And I have no clue of it ever being here?? Lupe, You got a NICE lookin car, and pretty quick too. I 'll choose to not believe you could think someone has managed the impossible. I mean if we sum it up we have a stock port car with the reponse of a 35R making just shy of 400whp@13lbs but pulls harder than your T51.

I meant that after driving that car, my turbo spools like a tortoise with rigamortise.

That car with the driver should weigh in at around 2950 (He's small). That should get him around the same trap speeds as me. My turbo would rip that thing apart a high boost but the way mine sits now, that AF turbo hangs. I haven't seen any dyno sheet and you're probably not going to find anyone else who has seen it but him. We're just going by what the owner said.

Lupe, did he really have 13psi at 3700rpm? I can see what you mean about seeming faster if your turbo is sitting on low boost, but still those numbers are insane for boost that low and on stock ports.

It's been a long time since I drove the car. I can't remember exactly what rpm it reached at 13 psi. 3700 seems in the ballpark.

How good is the response though? From what I saw of this past dyno experience it puts down about the same power as the T4 hotside GT35R that A-Spec offers, but will it spool as fast??

I have the turbo on my car it kicks ***. It was tuned by steve kan and made 426 @15psi. At 9 psi it made close to 320. It spools quickly and hits hard. did i mention i did this on pump gas. s5 engine w/ street port. THe same day at the dyno i made more power than a third gen with a specs gt35r that was running race gas. on the street it is awesome, it pulls hard. give Ron at devinci a call # was posted earlier in this thread

How soon do you see boost? and when do you reach full boost?

I actually think i might get rid of the T78 for this turbo. And since Davinci is close, rebuilds on the turbo should be easy.

According to Steve Kan you made ~350rwhp. Can you post a sheet?

Have fun, If he is putting 400+ to the ground he made need some new axles after Tuesday. Really, we just want to see the spool on the SAE sheets. Like you said, the scanned time slips will show the power, and silence the disbelievers. Your set-up should make the power you state without drama for sure.
