No numbers yet. Still in the process of building. It's gonna be a while but I hope to have it done before this winter. We started plumbing while we wait for the real turbo to get here so we can start working on the down pipe, hot side of the intercooler, and exhaust. Besides that there isn't much left to do. Just wire it up and small nick knacks.

No sorry. Just doing all the small stuff now and you know how that is. But I can say we are almost done with the plumbing and it is insane looking. Almost everything is braided lines. Even the radiator and boost lines are braided to an fittings.

The small stuff is the details that most people leave out of these writeups, but really makes the project. Can you post some more pictures?

Just wondering if you've totaled up the cost yet. My build up is running me $20,000 with the cost of new housings, ceramic seals, custom twin turbos, etc. Maybe I should have gone 20B

Everything looks Spectacular! Such a nice Road Race setup.

Want to sponsor an FC for NASA in Ohio? ;-)

Where did you pull the main source for the Vacuum Manifold from?

Main source of vacuum is coming from the intake plenum to a distribution block. I should have some pics this week or next. sorry its taking so long for pics but I don't get to work on the car too often. I don't even want to think of the cost! I thin i spent over 2k in lines and fittings alone.

2K on lines and fittings alone? Damn, I'm wondering what it's going to cost me. Now I have to do a custom gas tank so I can have a 2nd exhaust in my set up.

TwinsTurbo,
congratulations to you and Jack for the record breaking lap.

I assume a similar manifold was running on that car?

Yes the manifold pictured on page 2 post #36 is the actual header on jacks car..some people were worrying about the "spool" and not understanding what we were trying to do with this set up..i guess our Unlimited RWD national record speaks for its self.LOL

Some update picks for you guys.

the real turbo is on. It is a BorgWarner S383. One of 3 in the country.Pretty special piece, but nothing is to good for our boy john.

the wastegate dump is almost finished. after we fit the D/P we will finish fabricating the W/G dump

Pretty Sexy.....

the pluming is almost finished also. we will disassemble all of the blue fittings and adapters and have them anodized black to match.

the press sensors for the MoTec ready for the wiring harness.

And we also are using an AIM sports dashboard. John is not a big fan of the jet cockpit look, and neither are we. the AIM shares all the MoTec data and has built in progressive shift lights and warning lights. Much cleaner.

That is what we have for now. we should have the D/P fabbed up shortly. We are really getting close., it's almost hard to believe, LOL...

I noticed the EWP, I was wondering what brand you are using and how any experience you have with it has treated you.

Sorry if I'm thread derailing. . .feel free to PM me if you don't want to post it here.

I don't know of anyone who makes decent thickness slip joints, can't see that lasting, especially since it looks like 304 .. as in 5+ years lasting..
