custom manifold question???

custom manifold question???

Hi everyone, I'm trying to do a custom manifold for my turbo RX2 but I can't seem to find a 13b Stainless steal Flange. Also i don't know what diameter tubing i should get and if i can get a 2-1 collector for t4 flange. I've been doing my reseach but nothing seems to comes up. please help.

mazdatrix has stainless 13b engine flanges that are 1/2 thick. I bought one, looks pretty decent, i think its cast then post machined

As for tubing, thats a whole science/user preference.

I wouldn't think so. Thicker isn't going to make it warp less under heat.

I may be wrong as to the thickness, but i just looked to where the box is with the flange in it, and its behind alot of other stuff that my tired *** isnt moving tonight

i called mazdatrix but the one they have is not a flat piece in stainless its the one with grooves in it which is not what im looking for. the external port is 2inches in diameter but i feel like when i build the motor it might need bigger piping.

well being ur in CT, the capital of machineshops, you could just have one cut at a machineshop to your own thickness and with whatever exhaust port diameter you want

you should be able to scrounge up a stainless drop large enough for flange for under $40
