Are the purple tops the long (60mm) or short (48mm) version? I've seen a problem using the 60mm on ID2000's as the connector housing will contact the throttle body. We ended up using the shorter top adapter and then an additional lower spacer to raise them. We might have a couple of the lower spacers here or you could source them from T1 race as well.

i swear i've seen a pic somewhere, where somebody was using the 60mm ID2000's on an e&j TB, and yes that's what i have. do you think it's impossible to make the 60mm's work? because that's what i got.
It may be possible to make them fit with the long adapters, but it seemed easier to swap them for the short top and the additional lower. We have the spacers needed in stock if decide to go down that road.
There is no difference. The stock FD injector connectors will plug right into the ID2000's.
If I understand this correctly ...the Injector Dynamics have the OEM type of plug n play connectors Injection Connection requires either a dual sided plug adapter or replacement of the wire harness plug with the Bosch EV14 style plug?

Only the ID2000's share the same Denso connector. Others use the USCAR connector.
So I have the options of:
* Cutting off the OEM plugs and splicing in the pig tailed plugs.
* Using my tool kit to pop out the pins and swap the plugs without any wire cutting.
* Purchasing USCAR to Denso plug n play adapters (expensive).
* ID 2k injectors can be ordered with Denso plugs installed as an additional option?
Q: Moreover, so for our rotary purposes are only the larger size secondary's more critical to tuning with high amounts of fuel under high boost that dynamic matching would be a factor?
has anybody tried the 2200 as primary injector? i want to see if i can just run two injectors and not have to worry about staging
I run them in my 20b with a Haltech without issues. Bosch EV14 2200's in both primary and secondary. It won't work with a PFC though, itll idle really rich.
I'm trying to match the info in this thread up with the current ID part numbers
the RX-7 kit (2x1000cc injectors with with 11m tops) is part number 1000.11.03.60.11.2. From talking with someone at ID, this kit does NOT come with the 'denso' lower cushion, it comes with their '-204' cushion instead. Are these interchangeable?
I'm actually looking for 4 matched injectors, so for that I was told to order part number 1000.60.11.204.4 (which has the same -204 cushion)
If I want the denso lower cushion like this thread suggests, i was told to order the 1000.60.11.D.4 instead (for 4 matched injectors).
Has anyone ordered the rx-7 kit and is fitment proper, even though it does NOT use the denso cusion? what the hell is the difference?

What type of rail are you using? FD rails are typically 14mm top. The denso lower allows the injector to fit in a spacer for the LIM.
Question guys, have anyone here had any issues with the injectors sticking shut after a little while? I have a set of 6 that shut's down after a certain amount of time. If i let it idle the car dies out after about 25 min. I have traced it out to be the injectors heat locking it looks like. It's id1000 injectors. All came from same batch, they are matched to each other. Works fine if i put good cooling on the injectors with a high output fan blowing on them. Then no issues
Replaced injectors with some other siemens deka and have not had any issues with them since. Not with E85 og pump gas.
i know its an old thread, but i need your help. I have got some old ID 725cc and want to put them in my 34mm full function engineering fuel rail with the blue lower inserts . They have these big donuts on the bottom seal.
They normally got smaller donuts, like on the pic below:
So, iam not sure, how to handle this big donut (denso donut?) to seal it properly.
1. Take it off and just use the two 8mm orings
2. two 8mm orings + the big donut
3. just use the donut without 8mm orings
Found nothing about that in some injector dynamics fitment guides.
The big donut is called a denso lower cushion, its for FC & Rx8 OEM fitment.
You will need to remove that denso cushion for FD fitment, and use the two 8mm o rings it appears for the FFE spacer. The CJM lower spacer is 14mm FYI. You will want the black plastic spacer as show in the photos( it holds the lower o rings in place.
We have the complete fitment guide on our website also with part numbers etc.
Hi,
thank you. So i just need the black plastic spacers which holds the two orings. Do you sell them seperately or any idea where i can get them?
Ive got the FFE spacers, the orings, but the black lower plastic spacers are missing
with the 2 small o-rings and FFE spacers you won't need the lower plastic piece, they recommend its removal for some applications. Check with FFE to make sure.
