Back in march I was emailing with Elliot about 750's and the 2000's for my set up. How would tuning be with 725's and 2000's a car looking for low 400 rwhp on stock ported engine?

What is pricing ont the 725's and 2000's now?

I have the A-spec 3574 kit with a front mount.

I want to order new connectors because the I have 1600cc in there now, which connector part number should I be ordering to splice into the stock wiring?

They are the Denso/Sumitomo connectors. Ask any of our dealers for the crimp-on connectors for the ID2000's and they will get you set up.

Have fitted my id1000 injectors to my xcessive rail and lim using the black cushions as described but I have some movement when I wiggle a couple of the injectors. Am I likely to experience a fuel leak when they open, and is there any way of testing that all 4 work?

I got a ID2000 set from Paul and Aaron and they work great.

My injector duty went from low 90's % to low 60's %.

Nice also because of being able to remove the resistors.

Thanks Aaron and Paul,
Barry

With the key on and engine off, jumper the fuel pump diagnostic connector... F/P and GND terminals in the diagnostic box for FD. That will pressurize the system to look for leaks.

^ Would like to know as well, having the same problem. Also were they really hard to push in for you? Mine took a lot of effort!

Fitting the hats and into the rail was snug but I wouldnt say took a lot of effort. I've already ground a little off the rail brackets which has helped close the gap a little but a few of the injectors still feel a little loose.

If there is a leak on the LIM side you would notice it when performing a boost leak pressure test.

just so everyone knows, I just got off the phone with injector dynamics and if you a running the id2000 injector you need to clip off the bottom retaining clip if you are going to use the Denso cushion. I thought my fit funny so I called them and that is what they told me to do.

with the denso cushion my id2000 injector in the stock lim moves a lot. Like the injector just drops in there with no effort at all and moves side to side. I still haven't put the fuel rail on but is this normal?

Install the rail. Perform a fuel pressure test by jumpering the "F/P" and "GND" terminals in the diagnostic box, with the key on but engine off. Then with the injectors, manifolds, and intake piping installed, perform a boost leak pressure test. If there is a leak at the injector air will be escaping from there. You should be performing these tests on any single turbo build.

Kris,
I used 40% and .1ms
Log the transition and it should show the primary ramp stop increasing then drop as the secondary comes on. They then move toward each other and finally both move upward. The dropping primary should not overshoot looking like a check mark.

Yes stock 550's and no resistors on the ID 2000's.

Seems like people are having fitment issues with the ID's, what about the aluminum spacers that some of the forum vendors are selling, would this solve the problem?

I.E.

I am having fitment issues with the ID2000s. Below is what I received from T1 last week.

The rubber o-ring is 16mm, the holes in my LIM are 17mm. The metal tip of the injector goes down into the small hole in the LIM with room to spare. The plastic piece under the o-ring will not go into the smaller hole at all. So what I am left with is the metal tip loose in the small hole, and the 16mm o-ring loose in the 17mm hole.

I am not able to pressure test my fuel system because my car is too apart. Did anyone find a solution to make these fit better?

I just received my FIC injectors with 14mm oring top and bottom as well as a few sets of injector spacers from Banzai. I have yet to fit everything to my engine by the injector bottom o rings fit nice and snug into the spacers. Assuming this spacer seats well into the block and LIM everything should be good to go! Just wanted to give a heads up for those with fitment issues.
