Componenets needed to complete job
I am looking at buying a couple of items to complete my Single turbo conversion and I would be grateful for your input before I make my purchase.
I have in place all the other components to complete the transition, please read my sig.
The items I require are as follows.
1 x Fuel Pressure Regulator
Which make and model, should I buy the rising F P R? How much/where from?
1 x Set of secondary Injectors
Hmmm, 1200/1300 or 1600cc but I will need a modified fuel rail and how do a control the 1600 with a PFC? Again, please provide make/model/how much/where from etc….
Finally, 1 x Boost Controller (External wastegate).
Should I go with the Apexi Solenoid, simple but it gets the job done? Again, price and source would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance…

If you go with 1200/1300 cc injectors, no rail modifications are necessary. You also will not need to change your FPR unless your stock one is damaged already. If you go with the 1600s, you will need a new rail, and aftermarket FPR, and you must remove the ACV and install a block-off plate.
Boost controllers are always popping up used. I got an HKS EVC IV for $175, and you can get a new solenoid from Apexi for about $125 if I remember correctly. Might just want to drop another $100 and get a Profec B; I hear a lot of people are very happy with those.

Can you open the Rail up? I have read on here somwhere that there is a Mod on the Stock Fuel Rail (open the holes up that feed the Injectors)?
Would the Power Fc need any anything done to it to Run the 1600?
Is there any real advantages with Running a Rise rate Fuel Reg? i have done a bit of reading up on them to find the only real advantage i can find is the low rev/Idle does'nt run as rich?
Also what is the Best Make? i have seen alot of people use SX and Aeromotive, does this sound about right?
