Colorado Guys...?

I know there are a few people here from Boulder/ Denver area with a single turbo setup. You guys had to have had your cars tuned somewhere near here.... so I was wondering what shops did the work and what you guys felt about their customer service/ work. What kind of power are you guys pushing up here? I generally go with about a second or a little less off the 1/4 mile times but have no idea what the diff in hp is up here vs sea-level. Also, did you guys have your engines ported out of state or did someone instate do it? Thanks guys.

I do all my tuning and ports and work on my own! With some help from a few freinds on the forum! No shop in colorado that i really trust with my third gen. But Tony Rivera dose great work and hes in Denver! Charged cars are not effected as much as N/A cars are. I have a freinds named brandon who will do some work if you need, or i might also be will to do so. IM Rx7lover1993 on AIM, hope this helps!

Thanks a bunch man. I will definitely get ahold of you when this project gets going... I'll most likely send my engine out to get the work done on it but I will be in need of a good tuner up here. I used to work down at Ferrari of Denver and I'm an awesome friend with the head tech who is now working in a shop out in Boulder (Thomas Vintage Motors) but both of us need some pointers as far as rotary goes My AIM sn is Aenmity. Look forward to talking to you. Peace!

what car have you tuned if yours has never run? I was also under the impression you sent your plates off to get ported somewhere.....

Turbo or not, 5k+ ft ASL is going to affect your power and ETs....not to mention your spool time. I lived in CO for a good while with my car and know that first hand. I have worked with Tony before. If you want to know what I recommend, IM me - sn is below.

Im working on a specail port right now, not the KDR motor! I tuned the non seq with the haltech before the last time i tore into it! Car has ran many times so get your facts straight! Also worked on a couple of my freinds drag cars with a motec, and J and s knock sensor. You dont know everything about my life so dont try to undermind me! I said it will not effect it as much as a N/A car which this is true i never said your times will not be effect at all, it was just a comparison!

you know, Marc...I had a long reply written, but I don't think it's worth arguing over here - this isn't the place to discuss it.

The simple fact is that you have put your car together in a Lego type of manner having people give you specific step by step instructions and in reality you do not understand the dynamics of it all. If you want to state that you know how to truely tune and understand how all of your components and complete system works, that's your own business....but don't expect me to agree with you.

By this, I am not saying that I know everything either - I don't. I still have plenty to learn.

I'd just expect you to be straight up when someone asks for help.....and also use a few periods.
