Anyone who is serious doesn't care about that, that information just concerns keyboard chasers.
Interesting business model you have here....

Exactly my experience, just because the seller says so does not cut it in my book...

Exactly my point, personal experience outweighs any talk. I don't go about spewing forth technical information to persuade people into buying things. I usually do a piece or pieces for shops so that they can see for themselves, they can do the testing, and make up their own minds.

Lets do a Independent study. I don't know you or anybody on this forum fr that matter. I'll send you a exh tube coat it with your 5k * stuff. ship it back.

I have a buddy that works in a lab where we can see if it burns off or not!!

No biases reviews here. If it truly holds up to them temps at least people will know your speaking the truth.

Let me have one of your manifolds, and I'll test them out; otherwise I don't see myself and others paying for something "superior" without any technical data or real proof.

I don't think that is the issue here, its more of being "superior" to anything else out there.

thats my point. "IF: it holds upto 5k * with no signs of seperation/burning/fatigue the it just might be "superior"

but for some reason I say "Don't hold your breath" but as saxyman990 and myself know what he says isnt true. I thought Id offer him the option to try and prove himself right.

You are right, I was thinking of his manifold, when I wrote that

I'd be more than happy to get that done at the cost of shipping. Better yet I think I have an extra piece in the shop I could send you. Shoot me your postage address.

The highest recorded temperature that the HS gold has been tested to, that I am aware of, is 3500deg F. It sustained that directly for 15 minutes. Now I don't know if it would take that indefinatly, although thats what I have been told, personally I have never seen EGT's anywhere near that high. I've seen it last on engine's making more than 1400hp, and on engines where the valves have crashed through the piston domes. As I said before we've never been able to get the coating to flake off.
