car stumbles at 4500rpms, someone help!!

OK, at first I thought it was the common grounding problem but I've added 2 new grounds and it still does it. So I took out one of the IC pipes (getting no boost) and the problem is solved. Anyone know what this might be?

I actually checked around the engine bay and found the line to the fpr was off. I didn't think that was it, could it?

Also, Ive been having problems connecting the lines to the wastegate. I didn't think that was the problem either.

Someone help me please. The car is going on a dyno on monday and the tech charges $125/hour for his service.

How much boost are you guys running? Are you still using the cold plugs? Where did you end up placing the air temp sensor? What type of gas are you running?

Sounds like it was going lean because oif the drop in fuel pressure. Also, make sure your 2ndary injectors are working.

we're only running about 15psi. Plugs are changed out to colder ones from Ralph. Air temp sensor is placed right before the TB elbow. Pump gas is in there right now but when we tune it it's gonna have 110

Its gotta be the fuel, then. I only ran av-gas when I had it and I never ran into anything like that.

Ralph will get it figured out, but his bill can get spendy quick. Have fun on the dyno and make sure to let me know how it ends up. I'm getting excited myself for some reason. Try and get a vid of it on the dyno if you can.

That stumble could be a few things. I was so rich that the car would not even produce any boost but with the wide band and datalogit I have since began to make some serious power. If you have a wide band and a datalogit what are Your AFR`s? Who made the map You are using or is it from another car? I am going to take the car down to Ralph also so let Us know what happens. He wants to tune mine for 26-27 PSI and 110 octane that I am unsure that I want that much boost but He seems like He definately knows how to tune. I think it is fuel related also but do You have an upgraded igntion yet?

James just bought some 110 so we'll see if that's the problem. It could be a mixture of that and the line that was disconnected on the fpr. The fpr is only 1:1 ratio so I really don't think that is the problem. I know Ralph can figure it out but I just don't want James to pay up the butt for something that I can do for him free.

I'm actually hoping the stumble is from the secondary injecters overlapping the primaries. That is a tuning issue and Ralph can take care of that real fast. We have a Greddy wideband but I never got to feel the stumble, my brother just told me about it and I'm trying to fix it for him.

I would listen to whatever Ralph says!! He knows his tuning and from what I hear isn't as agressive as some tuners. I also hear he has a 900rwhp supra, can't wait to see that thing

YMMV, but my high rpm stumble ended when I replaced my high flow cat with a midpipe. My stumble happened first few times on boost when the car was just warm, like 86-88C on the PFC, my usual operating temps are more like 90C. Incidently low miles on the cat, no rattles, and nothing loose when I took it off. Maybe it was just too rich and a bit leaner now with the midpipe...Dunno.
