I'm gonna have a turbo built locally for me but i have one problem. I know what turbo I want (T04, 60-1 garret comp wheel, .70A/R comp, and a 1.15 p trim hotside) but the builder who is reputable by the way gives me measurements and whatnot in different ways then i'm used to.

I gave him the specs of the T04S of hksusa'a website and he said it would be similiar expect for the below noted differences.

What I know so far is .84 A/R. turbine (which I understand, will be getting 1.00 or 1.15 though), the turbine will have a minor diameter of 2.3 inches. The compressor housing would be a TB04 (never heard of TB04) modified to fit the compressor wheel.

Is this enough info to give you guys an idea of the turbo? Cuz I dont really get it.

.84 turbine... as in the compressor wheel? hope you have some good size ports on your motor! Maybe he ment TD04...?

 

Sounds like an O-trim exhaust wheel, you want the 2.54 minor exhaust wheel, which is P-trim. The TBO4 could be a variation of a TO4/T4 housing, but what he probably ment was TO4B, which in either case is probably not a good idea. You want AR .70 T4 compressor housing. If you don't have big porting you don't want the 1.15 AR housing, a 1.00 AR would probably be better.
