can't get T04R turbine housing off

I have a Garrett T04R (actually Comitatus' old turbo) with a 1.32 A/R turbine housing. I'm trying to remove the turbine housing and replace it with a 1.00 A/R turbine housing. On my old Garrett T04S i just removed all the bolts (and the little clamp thingies) and the housing came right off, or would rotate if the bolts were loose.

This one appears to be stuck. I have all the bolts out and the turbine housing will not budge. It won't lift off the CHRA nor will it rotate in any direction. I have tried PB blaster and a mallet, and I think I even tried a propane torch. I wonder if it has a different design or something? It doesn't look any different from my old turbo.

Sometimes they just get really stuck. The bolts and bracket pieces should be the only thing holding it together though.

soak it with some PBblaster or WD40 and then use a hammer and tap it lightly around the edges. Do not hit it too hard on one end, or you can bend the blades.

I had the same problem with an HKS to4r recently. Took a lot of soaking, and heating with a torch, and careful tapping with a brass mallet.

I don't know if anyone else knows this trick but try some DOT 3 brake fluid. I've had PB Blaster not work on some parts and brake fluid works everytime. Since it's obviously much thicker you have to let it SOAK overnight...

i'll get a much more badass torch on it. Before I just used a propane torch, but my friend has an acetylene/oxygen torch he uses for welding. I'll put that on there, being careful not to get it so hot that it will damage something.
