broken compressor wheel

My last turbo was on it's last legs and in it's final act of destruction left a chewed up compressor wheel. Several metal chunks were embedded in the 90* coupler, which i pulled out. I also imagine some pieces made their way into the intercooler. How can i get these out? Does anyone have any good ideas? None of the pieces appear to have made their way into the engine and I would like to keep it that way. My new turbo will be here tomorrow and I would hate to put it on and somehow force a small piece past the cooler and into the engine. Not sure how likely this is...

If you have a local diesel shop near buy there's a tool tool that they use to set beads on big truck rims. It sends a shot of nearly 200 psi in an instant burst to set the tire bead. That would SURELY send any debris in the intercooler out the entry end... I have one in my shop and if you want to ship it to me I'll do it for free. Just pay shipping both ways

You don't need an intercooler, just remove it! Just kidding.

I would remove it and reverse wash it and blow it out with compressed air. I would then stick a shop vac hose in there and move it around. If you really think something more is stuck in there, you could just cut the top of the end tank off and clean it and then weld it back on.
