You can use it, however, it probably would not flow enough air for anything more than 350rwhp... A number you could achieve with the stock twins...

Man..... these freakin EXACT turbo's have become a dime a dozen. AND THIS ONE IS WAY OVER PRICED!! You can get the EXACt same turbo for $400. Some times you can get 2 of them for $650. Do a search on ebay.

Yes I agree, not the optimum turbo. If you want the limits of the stock motor I would suggest a gt35/40 or a 60-1..

Thanks for the help guys.

I dont know if you noticed but im in australia and that price is aus dollar.
Where would be the best place to get a 60-1 ?
please bear in mind the cost of freight to australia if i get from the U.S. i think its about $200 us.
The manifold i have has a to4 flange so the gt35/40 is out as i dont want to change that.
What about a to4e ?

Thanks again
Terry

www.cheapturbo.com is an U.S. turbo shop that has good prices on turbos, but to save shipping and since I know there has to be Garrett dealers in AUS. I would look around locally. Perhaps inquire in the Aussie part of this forum: https://www.rx7club.com/australia-new-zealand-forum-43/

As for t04e, that too would be a great turbo. Although it depends on what you're looking for. IMO if you're looking for mild/reliable without too much stress on the motor the to4e is a good choice. However I don't believe this turbo will take you to the limits of a stock motor. You'll find alot of turbo choice has to do with your expected drivability/use of the car, what psi you'll be running at most of the time, and of course budget.

Whatever choice you make I recommend searching out some info on this forum on the different turbos so that you can make the choice for yourself about which one to go with. After all you're the one who needs to be happy with it.
