Can I use this turbo ?????

I am looking to get this turbo to use on my stock port
gen 3 .

garrett
Flow rating 500 hp/370kW
Compressor cover 0.7, 4 inch inlet
Compressor Wheel Super V-trim, 6 blade
Exhaust Housing 1.OO
T4 bolt pattern
Split pulse
Turbine High Flow P-trim
Left hand thread shaft
Seal Carbon seal
(suitable for carby setup)
Bearing 360 degree bolt in thrust brg.
(capable of 25+psi)

Can anyone tell me how it will work. I can get this at
quite a reasonable price, and im hopping to put together
a single kit . I already have a manifold.
its only for street use and i would like a useable power band so any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
Terry

The Compressor wheel is too small to make it worth your effort. You could buy that turbo and upgrade the compressor if you can get it for a good price.

How much power are you looking for? What kind of modifications are you prepared to do? For a street car its hard to beat a 60-1. It can get you around 375hp to the wheels, easily.

Check out this thread.

I would like to keep to bolt on mods only for the moment. So what ever the limits of a stock healthy engine are is where i want to be.
What are the exact specs of a 60-1 so i can get an idea of what i should be looking for ?

You could buy the turbo you were asking about in your first post and upgrade it with a 60-1 compressor. Any single turbo is going to require a standalone of somekind.
