I got a pic of it there, AJC-13B said he had one on his car and it made him loose power.. Anyone else have experience with this? Results?

Hey Mike, the biggest problem I can see is the crush bends, and the small pipe on the inlet side, centrifugal fans like turbo's and what not, really don't like restrictions on the inlet side, it seems to have a far greater impact on output and flow than seemingly larger restrictions on the outlet end, any restriction on the inlet side seems to make alot of turbulence and I think would make a turbo probably alot more surge prone..Max

Would seem to me the best way to do it would be to have a straight piece that was ~ a foot long and attatch the filter to that if there was room, by the time the air hit the compressor it would be flowing pretty laminar.

Just cut a hole in your hood/front end...run a straight piece of pipe from the compressor housing...right out the hole...and have the filter out on the end! I think I'll call it the ICEMAN INTAKE! hehe, is that name taken already?!?!
