You'll be trading a good majority of map island peak effiency for a broader surge line and a cool noise? Anti-surge compressor housings are all but useless on MOST turbo sizes on our cars because it will be a RARE occurance that you'll be spooling that turbo up quick enough at such a low RPM to have it surge. And that goes for the larger GT40 and GT42 turbos also. A lot of guys are going to non anti-surge housings gaining back effiency on the FAT part and peak parts of the compressor map and loosing that "cool" sound for performance because they and you will never have that turbo in a surge condition except when you slam the throttle closed (and heres the purpose of a BOV).
