Which BOV Synapse or Tial?

Which BOV would be the best? I currently have a tial but that synapse looks real good. Anyone have any experience using one yet?

Dustin

If you have the Tial no need to change. Unless you mean the new TiAL which is a vast improvement over the old one. Heck even then if it works why switch?

Yeah...I was looking at that...if Synapse stands the test of time and still has good reviews then I'll join...I'm still speculative for now.

Hey Dustin... I am in the same boat. I sold my tial and need a new gate. I was having boost creep and decided to switch. It may not even be a gate issue but I will soon know.

I don't think Tail makes a BOV so I think he's talking about a wastegate. I have the synapse wastegate, but I have yet to try it out.

^Maybe you should check before making such statements. Tial definitely does make a BOV.

Tial BOVs are run by hundreds of people on this board. Like Zero R said, if you have a current Tial BOV then theres no need to change. Unless your just looking for a new sound.

I said, I don't "THINK" that they do. I'm sure then I've seen one, just didn't recognize. THANKS for the link though, at least now I know where to get a Tial BOV in the event that I would need to purchase one!

I just picked up a Synapse to replace my HKS, though I haven't installed it yet. The design theory sounds...sound...so we'll see how it works out.

bov

I just installed the synapse BOV on my little borthers RB25DET. It does not leak or hiss but I am running it recirc. I have ordered the 50mm wastegate and am looking forward to using it. No diaphram sounds real good to me. I have some freinds using it on a turbonetics thumper LS1, with no problems.

Might want to check out the Turbosmart Raceport (52mm) as well. Cured the problems I had with the Tial 50 from back flow. That Turbosmart BOV flows ALOT.
