BOV location

It's been some time from the last time i posted and worked on my career. I am getting ready to start back up and finish my turbo upgrade and front mount install.
I was wondering what causes people to move the BOV location from the turbo side to the throttle body side?
I am thinking of having the BOV located near the stock location. I am thinking that I would blow of hot air then air that has been cooled by the intercool near the throttle body.
Am I of base with this thinking?
I also have to re research the single fuel pump set up that I will have in tank. I was looking to install a BNR32 fuel pump "Apex", but it seems to me the pump is not longer made. Can you point me in the right direction? My set up is the A-spec 3574 with long runners, a front mount intercooler, PFC and looking at the dynamic injectors. (725/750 primaries, 2000 secondaries if I go with this band injector) open to other injectors you guys can recommend.
Thanks for the input.

Per Howard Coleman who is considered one of the more knowledgeable members of the forum. He prefers to mount them off the IC end tanks. The reasoning being that this keeps the airflow smooth through the IC pipes. I'm paraphrasing this but if you check the last page or two of his thread in this section about testing the different turbos his reasoning is on the last page or two.
If you look at how the OEM's do it, they put them in all different places. Some put them before the intercooler, on the hot side of the intercooler piping system. Mazda did that on the FC and FD. All the Borg Warner turbos with integrated bypass/diverter valves on the compressor do the same thing (VW turbo engines). Some engines have the factory air bypass valve located on the intercooler end tanks, like all the Subaru engines. Many manufacturers have air bypass valves located after the intercooler, like on Mitsubishi turbo engines.

That is what i though until I seen the twist in the shaft on the turbo. this does not mean the shaft was not defective, but a combination the shaft and a bad recerc. valve could have lead to this.
If you have the bov mounted after the intercooler and have it recerc. to the turbo then you would have cool air in the tubo track.
