Borg warner EFR

does anybody have any info about the EFR series on their S5? if so what number of turbo? was it fairly compatible? Any info would be nice

I am not aware of any Rx-7 even in position of the turbo, let alone running...

8374 would be the route to go for a street driven car...

well i really like them mostly cuz they are internal wastegate if i cant get one thats ok. is the any other performance turbos with internal?

I've been trying to get ahold of an efr 9180 for 3 months now. The site I'm going through tells me they are still being delayed =/

I'd like to try one out, but holy $$$ batman. For what they cost you can buy 2 airwerks turbos and 2 external gates.

Their production has been put back due to their previous supplier of turbine housings. The 7670 and 8374 should be shipping within two weeks Im told, and the 9180 soon after that.

The thing to remember is many of the turbos have internal wastegates, and all have compressor recirc valves, both of which are money saving items. They are also billet compressor wheeled, and have ceramic DBB which will make them much more durable than the Airwerks line. While Im a big fan of the Airwerks turbos, they simply are not as durable as a Garrett DBB.
