I think i understood why im seeing 1.24 bar (18psi)

My vaccum source is on the compressor housing, the turbo is pushing 18psi, but the the TB is only seeing about 14psi(what it should be) POST FMIC... its all relaltive to the vaccum source i guess.

Like the stock twins, they may be pushing 15psi, but the TB sees 10psi because of the IC restriction/pressure loss.

this just hit me reading post #17 by Majik https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...light=PFS+Race

what happend when you turned the BC off?....I had the same problem when my BG turned off just kept climbing to 1.3 bar.....in the end found that the pipes to the wastegate were transposed..(connected at the wrong points)....easily overlooked!

On the HKS wastegate where is the vaccum line coming out of the boost controller to the WG suppose to go on? the side? the top port?

whether my boost controller is on or off or whatever setting its on... its still spikes to 18

You should have engine vaccume to the side of the wastegate. The line from the boost solenoid should be going to the top of the wastegate.

Well ****, that might be my problem. There is only one line going to the wastegate and thats from the boost solenoid going to the side of the wastegate.

So i should find a engine vaccum source on the intake manifold or somthing and connect it to the side of the wastegate and connect the line from the boost solenoid to the top of the wastgate?
