I had the same problem. Its not a boost controller or dump tube issue. That wastegate is just too small for that setup. The 50mm racing gate also fits on that manifold. That could be an option.

I dunno how people get away with anything under 40mm.
We run 50mm HKS Race or 46mm Tials on most of our cars anyways.

I will agree. When I purchased this I was going off the advice and mods of others. I pretty much knew the wastegate was the whole problem, once I started creeping, but I was in denial.

Also, remember the less amount of boost you want to run the larger wastegate you need. Youll need to divert more exhaust gases by the turbine than if you were running say 20psi versus 12psi. This is the answer i got directly from a turbo builder.

BDC runs that wastegate and has no creep problems. I plan to use it on my 60-1 1st gen also.

I know, that's why I had to ask. I don't get it, but I have exhausted every option, other than restricting my intake or exhaust; and that would defeat the purpose of all my efforts.

She just won't hold at higher rpms.

if you don't want to spend the money for another wastegate...clipping the turbine wheel may help.

The HKS cast log manifold also has a very inefficient path to the wastegate which may also be contributing to the creep problem.
