Is this boost creep?
I had a major overhaul and single turbo upgrade performed at mazsport of tampa a few months ago. I ran short on funds toward the end of the build and had to hold off on the A/F and boost controller. I recently installed a AEM Uego so I am ready for a more aggresive tune and boost controller, but I have a major concern.
As i said, I have not installed my boost controller yet and am only running a 6psi spring in my Tial wastegate. With no boost controller, how is it that ever since I picked up my vehicle, it goes to 15+ psi of boost when i get into it hard. The only thing I can think of it the Tial Wastegate matched up to the HKS exhaust manifold is somehow not allowing boost to be controlled. Any ideas...

There is something wrong with your wastegate, it's not opening up so that's why you're boosting so much.
For me, it was simply that a vacuum line popped off so my wastegate actuator wasn't seeing any pressure, so it didn't open.
