boost controller
Im lookin at two different boost controller used that I found for pretty cheap.
First is a Greddy Profec A says he has all the parts and it still works fine.
The other Is the HKS EVC Im not sure much else. He says it has the green lcd screen, so I think its not the EZ one.
They both seem to have the same functions, so what one do you guys prefer.
Oh yeah the HKS is $50 cheaper.

Any of you guys ever use an adjustable pressure relief valve for a manual boost controller? I made one for a friend, who has a modified TII, using this valve I got from Grainger and a couple fittings. It works great! The wastegate is completely closed, so it spools quicker, until the set boost is reached and then it stays exactly at that boost level. It is adjustable up to 20 psi but can you change the spring inside the valve to get higher levels. His car is currently set at 15 psi. (410 RWHP @ 18psi on dyno)

Alot of people use setups like that. I've heard that you can get spikes in the higher gears, but that's usually with the cheap valves from home depot racing.

There is absolutely no spikes or boost creep with the pressure relief setup. None whatsoever. It's set for 15psi and it stays there. Check out these links on DIY boost controllers.
