Question Which boost controler.

I have searched a few forums on this and can oly find old info. Not sure if anything has changed. I have a power fc and I am going to a single turbo. I will be in need of a boost controler. I will go with an electrical unit. I am looking to get the AVC-R to match the pfc. I also looked at the Profec E-01.

Should I stay with the apex and keep these matching in makers? What would be the best route to go? Would like input from you guys that have run with these boost controls. More info the better.

Thanks

The apexi AVC-r is great because you can do gear dependent boost for traction etc....but if you want simplicity and ease of use, then the greddy type S boost controller is for you, its the newer version of the old school profec b. It has three *****, set the two settings and you're done. Thats what I had on mine.

blitz SBC type R is great, it may not do gear dependant boost but the twin solenoid controller and volume/gain control system is far superior to the pressure read singles solenoid setups.

There are two great ones: Blitz SBC i-D and Blitz DSBC Type R.

My DSBC Type R keeps boost constant between summer and winter without any changes! And it has over boost protection if someone has only messed with your normal boost setiing.

For over boost caused by control hose failures or boost control failures with a PFC, setup the PFC for it.

I have been selling a lot of the AEM Tru boost. Cheap and does a good job of controlling boost.

Just a quick question...

Does the greddy type S boost controller have a built in turbo timer?

I have the Gizzmo IBC. very neat display and easy install as well as being very reliable and doing its job correctly. the price tag wasn't bad either
