boost control

Removed the 17psi spring and replace with 7psi spring and delegated the boost control to a profec B spec II....this is ok? I can still run 20+psi as long as I used the boost contrller?

Dumb question I guess but sort of inferred from the stock FD setup..

A 7psi spring may not be able to stay shut under the force from your exhaust

The boost controller uses the manifold pressure against the spring correct on the WG? Using the boost controller as the "spring" or valve that allows for release of air to the diapragm then allowing the spring to work.
