Is the Blitz SMIC good enough??

I am running a gt35r single and a blitz smic. I am wondering if that intercooler will be good enough for 16psi or do I have to upgrade to a bigger smic/fmic? Will a ASP meduim be good enough for this application? Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I doubt the Blitz is big enough for that application. I know that Max Cooper ran an Apexi RX-6 on an ASP Medium for a while.

depends on if the car is moving or not.

also seriously depends on the tuning, but it's definately possible.

Crazy,

Monitor your intake temps. That's the real way to know if you need a bigger/better IC or not.

I'd say that will be a bottle neck in your system.

I would agree. The Blitz SMIC is meant to be a minor upgrade for those running stock twins and stock boost levels. I had one on my last FD.

The GT35R flows more air than the stock twins therefore at boost levels that flow more air than the stock twins, it will act as a bottleneck and will probably overwork the turbo as well.
