bleed valve

my bleed valve doesn't seem to work to well with my wastegate. as far as i know bleed valves don't work well with big turbo/wastegate setups. what do i use?
i've been told to use a compressor vlave. i assume u need hook up a hose to the outlet of the wastegate diaphram for this setup.

What kind of wastgate are you running? If it's small you may be getting boost creep...

Also are you sure you have it hooked up right?
I'll describe how to do it since manny people don't understand how to hook up a wastgate with a boost controller.

You should have a vacume line running directly from the intercooler piping to the wastgate on the side that pushes the wastgate open. Then you should have anouther vacume line running from the intercooler piping to the bleed valve and then on to the back side of the wastgate... once that is done open the bleed valve all the way up and run the car and see what it boosts. Then close it a little bit at a time after each test run untill you get the boost you desire so that you don't over boost and blow your engine..

cheers
but i know how to hook up a bleed valve

the wastegate is big enough 45mm. (turbosmart progate)
this type of wastegate can have problems, but only at high boost >25psi

Cool, some people try to hook them up like a standard actuator... Wastegate's don't like that... Just wanted to make sure.. get a greaddy VVC or a Profec B.. Both of them work very well with wastgates and they don't have to do the learn the boost crap that usually never works correctly...
