Best spooling t6 turbo?
Alright so currently I have a t6 framed turbo on my 6 port engine. It works okay but is retardedly lagy and unfourtantly I do not have much information on the turbo as I bought it second hand. All I know it is a borgwarner and the compressor is 70mm. I speculate the exhaust housing is 1.10.
The turbine wheel looks like a damn ceiling fan.
I know that having a large frame turbo is going to result in lag but what I am wondering is what is the most responsive non ball bearing t6 turbo I could use.
I really do not want to change up my entire setup and it would be great to find a responsive turbo that I could install without any major changes except tuning.
Any suggestions or links to possible turbos?
Thanks for the help.

I'd say a 70mm inducer BW would be your best bet. They don't make a whole lot of smaller turbos in T6 frame, most are 75mm or bigger inducer. Are you still on stock 6-port rotor housings with the diffuser?

Sorry for being so vague. I am looking for 350whp on pump gas. My current turbo seems to be making well over that but I hate to say that without any proof or dyno sheets. But I am running 14 psi on pump gas with a 70mm compressor wheel.
I think the biggest flaw in my setup is the hotside.
Setup is a 100 percent stock s4 6 port block with the diffusers installed. 9.4 rotors. I am trying to keep the block completly stock because I want to see the potential they have. Even with stock ports and diffusers it spools BETTER than when I had a streetported block with 9.0 rotors. Haltech e6x, 550/1600 injectors, walbro 255. Running about 80 percent duty cycle. Greddy front mount, my sig below is a picture of the setup. 50 mm wastegate and unknown manifold.
I don't mind having less power I just want better boost threashold I can make a few psi in 1st at redline then full boost in second going forward right now.

Dude im making around 370 with a T4.... Its hard to keep the turbo out of boost, kicks in aroun 2700..3200 Rpms...
Why dont u just go with that??? its kind of Over kill using a T6 1.10... no?? I know SpeedNYC is using one but he's making 600+

The best idea all around is get a new manifold, downpipe, and go witha t4 framed turbo, maybe a to4s. However I am thinking in the future I would want to go for more power again. 350 whp on pump gas would meet me needs for now and still leave alot of potential if I stick with a big frame turbo.

Well, you could weigh the options between paying to have the flange cut off, modifying the primaries and getting a T4 flange welded on, or selling the manifold whole and buying another T4 manifold. Either way, they don't really make small T6 turbos, you'll pretty much have to go T4.
With that being said, you can still make over 600 whp on a T4 framed turbo. So the option of more power will still be there.

At one point I was thinking the same but there really isnt any One turbo fits all. I decided to just stick with a turbo thats right for the power i want NOW, and worry about the rest later. You end up getting the best bang for buck and response that way.

TurboR1 took a T3 GT35R to a little over 500 whp and 10's in the 1/4... But T4's offers a bit more versatility in the rotary-friendly turbine wheels (p-trim, etc.) Plus, divided housings aren't bad.

I have not got the numbers yet, I am going to dig to see if i ever wrote them down anywhere. I am going on vacation tonight so I don't have time to pull the turbo off.
Thanks for the help.
