Best oil to run in a street ported 35R
The definite answer is:
(1) convert the OMP to its own oil tank filled with Redline Racing 2 cycle oil.
(2) use a premium synthetic oil and if it does not contain a ZDDP package, add it.
(3) even with the OMP, add a good 2cycle oil as premix at about 8 oz per tank.
(4) replace the non original size oil filter that Mazda sells nowadays to a top of the line one that is original size.

I run synthetic 2 cycle oil (redline racing) from a separate tank through the OMP. I run 5-6oz of premix in a tank of gas.
I use an origional sized oil filter.
I use dino crastrol GTX though. 10w30 in spring/fall/winter and 20w-50 summer.
So far so good.
I run Motul 300V Le Mans 20W-60. No oil metering pump as I pre-mix (Benol Castor oil) at 2 ounces of pre-mix per 1 gallon of E85.
