TX Bad Boost gauge/ boost sensor?

Hey guys got a question about the stock boost gauge and sensor. My stock boost gauge doesn't seem to work most of the time. When it does work it never reads more than 0psi. Does the boost gauge get its signal from the boost sensor? If so does this mean my boost sensor is bad? Its an N318 if that helps at all. If it is bad does that mean my ecu isn't adding more fuel cause it can't read the boost? If any of that is true are there new ones I can get that will work with my ecu? Thanks for any advice you guys have.

I would give you boost sensor a better boost source. Try to get its own port from the intake manifold. Don't tap into sensor line
