Ayone coated the INSIDE of the compressor housing? (abradable seals?)
I'm thinking about having the inside area of the compressor housing where it mates to the wheel coated with a thin teflon coating. It'll be just enough to create a little clearance interference so that the compressor will eat it away and form a tighter seal against the housing for more efficiency.
Anyone done this before? Worth it or a waste?

"Elusive, not deceptive!”
On Allison C-30 compressors we used a few different coatings. One was an aluminum/graphite coating. It could be lapped using the wheel’s face to get a perfect fit. We could then shim the clearance to a min spec (without the fear of a rub) for more efficiency.
