Hi guys, My rx7 is install with an automatic transmission, is it possible to install a single turbo??? my engine is a 280hp with automatic transmission. Can gimme some opinion what to mod.??? currently its still original even the suction kit. just install an exhaust some time ago.

My car has had this for a couple years with ever increasing hp goals....tranny is showing no signs of failure

 

So Hotwheelz the hardness u intro me can fit most of the piggy bag ECU??? But in my country Malaysia the local technician tell me that its pretty hard to set for automatic, so is it true??? thanks ya.

 

What year is your car? Our harness is only for the Series 6 (93-95). It is not hard to set up at all. Here are the installation instructions from our site http://www.banzai-racing.com/FD_adapter_install.htm

It sounds like the OP does not have a series 6

 

he said he has the "280hp" motor, then again you can't assume lol. I've known a couple of gen 2 owners with auto tranny, and had no probs at all.

 

In our experience the auto tranny unmodified is good up to 400rwhp. Obviously mileage and shape of tranny will have an affect.
