Talking Attn: Rice Racing.

Hey mates,

I just finish my single turbo conversion three weeks ago. I went to start my car and guess what, the car sounded like **** and idle worst that it sound. After a long session of diagnosising the car,my leading coil is dead.

I ordered my new leading coil through the dealer last week. The part came in, I when to pick it up, and those fools got me the wrong coil.

My question to my fellow Rotorhead is how much power should I expect to be making with 91piss fuel. These are list of mods on my car.

ŽÕ93 non-ported block 55k on it.
Power FC, current map is a twin map but will change to XS single map.
RC 550/1300cc injector.
Fuel pump-dunno which to go with yet.
Greddy FMIC
SS fully divided manifold with HKS racing waste gate.
Turbo is a Garrett clone dry center 60-1/ .60 comp housing with a P-trim/ .89 turbine housing.
Custom downpipe 3ŽÓ downpipe with v-band from turbine. Open wastegate.
2.5ŽÓ turbo discharge pipe to intercooler.
Old school HKS super blow off valve.
Stock ignition with 10mm Magnacore wires.
J&S Safeguard.
All smog related item are gone.

Well, I think I have everything thatŽÕs on my car. I know the importance of proper tuning and will have the car dyno tune and in the future. What is the realistic hp/torque estimate for this setup.

There are quite a few variables, but a good estimate should be around 410bhp@6.5k to 6.7k@14psi boost.

Intersting to see what others get from a similar set up?

410x.85=350 odd rwhp.

Thanks for your reply. I know that the turbine housing is a little on the small side. At what rpm will this start to be my limiting factor. Can you recommend a Bosch pump part number or Denso?

I also failed to mentioned that I'm still running the stock cat and Greddy Sp exhaust. Soon to be replace by a high flow 3" cat.
Thanks, Jay
