Aspec Delivers
Well the last of the '09 goals arrived today. A couple of months late due to some flange delay from Aspec's supplier... but honestly I couldn't care. The parts look pretty good and before anyone starts on coatings, they'll be heat wrapped the way God intended.
DP and Mani for my GT3574 turbo
Not sure what happened at the division but I'm sure it'll burn off anyways.
I already had this on the car for a bit but decided to ditch the manifold that was leaking and pony up the $ for the mani/dp. (needs to be cleaned)

it was an ebay manifold originally. The previous owner put it on w/ an ebay turbo and zero supporting mods. The ebay manifold itself was pretty well constructed from my experience and was fine for about 3.5 years.
It just recently developed the exhaust leak and I figured I'd just go ahead and bite the bullet instead of replacing manifolds every 3 or so years.
the turbo was pure 100% crap. I would highly recommend staying away from it (which is the first thing I replaced on it and is why i've had the GT3574 for some time and just now getting around to an reputable manifold)
@ *RX007* : I pay complete coverage insurance well over the California's minimal insurance guidelines and is listed with my insurance company as residing in CA. It's just registered out-of-state for the tags. I rarely drive it due to my schedule and repairs. Hopefully that will be changing as I close in on some of the remaining repairs.

Thank you for the info, i always wondered how people were able to insure the car, so your insurance company doesn't mind the car being registered out of state?

No worries on the spelling. It happens all the time... I never had the problem until that stupid cartoon came out... oh well.
The single harness is pretty easy. The hardest part is removing the silly electrical tape and the ultra-hard plastic shrink-warp. Other than that it's just clipping and de-pinning - and then soldering the grounds back together.

I've got that same turbo kit. I'm sure many will dissagree with me, but they are very slow and customer service for me was poor, but their products and work are top notch.
In reference to another posters question, my car is registered in one state and insured in another, been that way for three years. They don't seem to care. Never been in an accident though so maybe they would then. The insurance company doesn't care what tags you have as long as your insurance location is accurate, but the state does care.
How are you pulling TN tags? Buy a small bungalo there so you can tag your cars there???
