Arduino BW Turbo Speed Gauge

Hi guys-

I love browsing the forum and wanted to share a project i have been working on. Winter in the midwest is no fun, so this was a fun project to research and work on inside. The microcontroller uses a great opensource software, and there is tons of information available online. Using the information from the BW Tech Brief, I programmed the arduino to read the number of pulses from the sensor and converted from Hz to RPM for the readout. Currently, the gage operates independently. In the future, i plan to output a 0-5V signal to the haltech to datalog.

BW Turbo Speed sensor
Arduino Nano ATmega328
12V to 5V DC power converter
TE Connectivity superseal connector
16x2 Display
2x USB (ecu com, stereo)

Cheers

That's cool. I should really get into this stuff I think it could simplify my WI/boost control safety while running an apexi.

I would think it would be doable with enough research. Theyre cheap enough to buy and test out.

Makes me wonder if it would be possible to replace the dummy lights in the bottom corners of the dash with a screen that displays which light is lit. If more than one is lit, have it cycle between the activate lights.
