Power FC CEL Arduino Fix

CEL Arduino Fix
So I just had my engine rebuilt by Rick in Pleasanton at Ricks Rotary
So far I've been really impressed by his shop. I will be doing a full review of my experience there once I get the car back.
So after the rebuild I found out I have an overboost problem. I opted to install the Power FC to deal with this and as such am aware of the CEL no longer functioning.
As a Commiefornia comrade I must smog.
As we all know the Power FC does not control the CEL light resulting in a visual fail.
This thread isn't about the solution. It's about the method lol. I've heard people connect the CEL to the airbag sensor light. I've heard of techs looking for that too. My proposed solution is to power an arduino to run the CEL light independently to make it look completely legit.
Anyone interested in this?

Right now I'm trying to find out what the bulb is for the CEL light. I have narrowed it down with the repair manual wiring diagram and the bulb is a 14v 1.4w

I know swapping the old ecu is much easier but this is about nerding out.

Is anyone interested in this? I have a guy ready to design it from elance. Looks like this is going to cost about 50-80 dollars to have an engineering professional design this for us.

In Feb. 2007, Dale Clark posted on how to make the CEL actually correctly work off the PFC.
Unfortunately the URL to the fix is dead in his original post.
