I've had nothing but good experiences with every knock off I've purchased. Compete or close your doors.

Man you just dont understand it. The knock offs arent competing...they are stealing. They dont have the overhead of a department of high paid engineers, testing facilities, having to sponser people to test and break thier parts to find limits, ect ect ect. Do you people not understand what your doing by supporting the thieves??? When places that innovate close thier doors who the hell are your precious knock off companies going to copy??? NO ONE. You have to support the innovators or else they will stop working to make better products. Your knock off companies do NOTHING for the industry except hurt it and make the real companies not want to create anything.

Is that right? I'll most likely be in Cali for 4th of July, will have to look him up. Any races or shows going on that weekend? Will be staying in San Diego but will make a trip or two to LA.

AMEN my brother!! Quality and craftsmanship is also included in these original products. I don't believe there is any feedback or customer support with these knockoffs.

I used to buy original parts from Japan, like the original Cwest body kit and that high dollar wing but found that the quality wasn't "That great". After selling those parts for 1/10th of their price I couldn't see mysef spending all that money for something that's going to lose value so quickly and for something that the quality isn't that great. So.......... I bought my currect body parts from Rotary Extreme.

These are bodyparts, I'm not sure about mechanical parts. Everything else I've bought has been original.

I can see buying replica body parts. But for performance parts, why in the hell would anyone buy a cheap knock off? Why don't you just set your money on fire if you want to buy the cheap stuff. Or sell your 7 for a Civic?

I thought that I read that your GT35R and GT40R turbo kit is copied from the Apexi and Hks manifold? You use different materials and wastegate location but other than that, the manifold is the same ......

Not trying to start a fight but isn't that what you're doing?

Nope, they were made from the ground up don't know where you heard that from, but they are in completely different positions. I designed the short runner to work with all the existing M2 IC Intake stuff and work with the Air pump. The long runner ones I let the length I was looking for dictate the position. Not too worried about it, I've had others on here think I used to install stereos gotta love the he said she said stuff.

Chucks stuff is as good or better in most cases I agree.

I also read you invented the GT35R turbo and actually do all your own welding, but I was wrong on both accounts.

As well as me installing stereos? Wow you reeeeeelly must be in the know.
Go blowup a motor or something. Make yourself useful. Try and sell a complete kit for a change I'm getting tired of cleaning up after you.

Your welcome to come by anytime and pit your welding skills against mine. Do you guys even own a tig?

I've been installing body kits before they put sport and compact in the same sentence. I've installed cheap *** ebay $100 kits to FAB kits over $15,000 on Mercedes. Let me tell you that you get what you pay for. It has to be worth it to the person that pays for it.

That being said:
I never buy knockoff **** for my car. I'm not saying I look for name brands because I shop at K Mart for the cotton I throw on my back. I just like to have the best **** on my car(if I can afford it). I don't mind paying for quality products. Here's my gripe.

Apexi, Greddy, Tial, Rotora, let see..... I'm trying to think of.... oh yeah, HKS. I've got parts from all these guys. Like I said I don't mind paying for quality(when I can afford it). Bottom line, I hope all these ******** go under and fall on their faces. I don't want to offend anyone who works or has friends working there but every single one of these people I delt with are either ******** or don't know **** about their product. Now don't go jumping out of your seats to defend these boneheads because you paid 800 bucks for an exhaust and think it's cool to slap their sticker on the side of your fender to advertise for them(I never understood that, are you just advertising for free or are you telling people you have genuine parts??? What thehell do you get out of slapping someone's sticker on your fenders? Does it look cool? They should pay oyu to do that if anything.). I am only, I repeat only speaking from my experience.

We repair lots of modified cars that's been in a wreck so I am dealing with these guys on a regular basis. Let me give you an example. I had a Z in her with a HKS SC kit. It was a front end hit so naturally it busted the oil cooler. It's an HKS kit so I called HKS to see if I could get a replacement part.

HKS said:

Choice one: Buy the whole kit for $6500
Choice two: They have to order the part from Japan and it will take 2 months. On top of that they said the traction fluid for the rotrax SC was a special blend made in house by HKS. BULLSHIT!!!

I told them to **** off. No support from these ******** what so ever. What insurance companies gonna wait 2 weeks for a ******* oil cooler and fluid. If it's not an insurance job, how the hell do they expect a shop to have a car down for 2 months. I hope everyone of those ******** go to hell.

What I did. I call Mocal directly, that's what all these companies do anyways. they by the **** form somewhere else and slap their names on it and mark it up to dumbass who buys there stuff just for the name(I bought a HKS 4 row IC core, I didn't pay full price but they used to sell it for $1600. It has an HKS sticker and their part number but stamped on the IC but on the other side it says made by Koyo. Yeah, that knockoff company that makes your knockoff radiator)

Anyways, back to the story. I get the same cooler and make my own line to replace the shitty ones they brovide with the kit. I get the traction fluid delivered to me directly by rotrex. Car is finished on time!

I could write an entire book on dealing with these companies. I've delt with them all. I haven't come across a single company that has good customer support. My thing is if I paid $5000+ for a turbo kit, I expect to get a fitting, a hose or an of the components replaced when it goes wrong, on time! Not 2 ******* months!

Yeah, I hate these companies. I only buy stuff from these people when it's the only option I have. I alwas, always erase, scrbb off, sand off, completely remove any traces of the company's name/logo. You will not find they're names on my car unless they have good customer support.

Bats Inc: Mocal dealer, excellent. Great customer support. None of that wait 2 months ****.

www.anplumbing.com : Tom, knows his ****. Best I ever delt with.

Greddy: Can go to hell
HKS: I never knew the definition of dumbasses until I spoke with these people
Apexi: Customer service? What the **** is customer service?
Volk: Need a replacement wheel? **** that, wait 2 months or you got to buy the whole set.

Like I said, don' t give me your "oh I had a wonderful experience" bullshit. You gave them 500 bucks for a boost controller that you get to stick on top of your dash because no one did any research on how to mont the damn thing in your car and thank them by sticking their logo that you probably paid for on your windshield/fender/bmper.

You get the picture right. Stop spporting these ********. If this is the kind of support I can get by paying all that money, it ain't worth it. I have the capability so I just started too make my own ****. Keep record of the parts used, if it breaks, I just order another one. Never again will I ever buy anything from these ********. I would just by the knockoff as a base and modify it. Make it so it will work.

PS. I suck at spelling and my "u" on the keyboard is out of wack so fill in the gaps.
