AR Apexi RX6 setup...what else?

Finally after years of waiting and accumulating lots of parts, I am about to take my car to Steve Kan for a 5 speed conversion and Single turbo install. While it's under the knife I'm having Steve completely rebuild my motor with the best of the best along with some porting. The following is a list of upgrades for my 94 SSM Touring. Please offer any suggestions you can think of. I want to make sure I do this right and don't miss anything. I'm going for smooth, quick reliability. Thanks!

Receiving:

Apexi RX6 complete kit
Injector Dynamics 1000 & 2000's
FFE rails etc.
Apexi AVC-r
KAAZ diff
ASP Large SMIC
R2 dual oil coolers
5 speed tranny
ACT clutch & pro lite flyweel
RE Amemiya short throw shifter

Already have:

Apexi PFC & Commander
Upgraded fuel pump
mid pipe
RB catback
Aluminum radiator
Silicone vacuum hose
Turbo timer
Boost gauge
Gumby sticker

What else can y'all think of? I appreciate any feedback.

Proper ducting! Think of how to allot for the intake and intercooler without robbing your radiator.

Thanks! The ASP large smic comes with it's proper duct will that help?

Also I've been running Evans NPG+ coolant for years in my AWR aluminum radiator and I never have any overheat issues of any kind.

Nice solid streetable setup the RX6 is a great turbo. I would highly suggest plumbing the wastegate back into the exhaust since the open gate is very loud under boost. Which kit did you get? The long runner "A" or short runner "B" ?

BTW... my FD made 396hp on the RX6A and the FB made 410hp with the RX6B turbo.

I would ditch the AVCR boost controller. It is a bitch to tune. I have good results with the Apexi boost kit that comes with a 3 bar map sensor and plugs right in. I stock them.

You are going to need an ignition upgrade. Either simple like the HKS twinpower or the Sakebomb AEM coil setup.

What is the condition of your engine harness?

Do you have a fuel pressure regulator, lines, fittings, etc?

Pineapple idler pulley.

Water Temp gauge, Wideband or EGT, Upgrade AST, Oil Catch Can, Cermanic Coating or Wrapping for LIM and Downpipe, and as the others have said twin power, pulleys, and FPR.

if you can tune the AVCR its probably the best out there. you can do boost by gear and other fancy features.

+1

The Apexi AVCR and Blitz boost controllers are among the best as long as you know how to tune them.

LOL, one of the better boost controllers. It's closed loop feature works amazing and by that I mean it just works.

The problem is most people don't know how to tune the ACVR. I can and have done it, but its a whole process in itself. Not saying its a bad boost controller, its just a pain. I'm sure Steve Kan will be fine tuning it.

Ray at PF Supercars recommended that I get AVC-R because of the fuzzy logic, tune based on gear, and to help with some boost spine issues he saw on the dyno. FYI, I don't know how to tune it so I am just glad I have someone local to me who is well versed in all of it's functions.

Do not overlook your ignition system. Get an HKS twin power and also run plugs with a higher heat range. You also may want to consider getting a FMIC/VMIC and a different exhaust if you have the funds available. I used to run a SMIC and RB catback with my RX6 and switched to a FMIC with the Greddy Evo exhaust.
